About us

Today you can choose anything online. You are in charge.
Except with live speaker events!

Live on Demand changes the nature of live speaker events by starting with the demand. Who do you want live on stage? We put the power in your hands. You can create or join an inspiring event. When enough people join we help you organize it.

Live on Demand is an online platform that facilitates the crowdfunding of live speaker events and building a community of likeminded people.

How it works: a step by step guide

Step 1: You start a campaign on our online platform: “let’s crowdfund Speaker X to city Y!”

Step 2: You share the campaign in your network in order to reach ‘the critical mass’, meaning: an x amount of people have shown their interest by leaving their email address (subscribing) at the campaign page.

Step 3: If enough people are interested, Live on Demand contacts the speaker. Together with you as the starter of the campaign Live on Demand selects a venue, date and fills in the event program.

Step 4: Tickets are being sold through the campaign page. All interested people gathered during Step 2 receive an email with the ticket link, date, location and event program. The first round of ticket sales consists of Golden Tickets, offering the best seats for the lowest price (privileges for the best and first supporters of the campaign). Note that the ticket price will show on your bank account as a reservation. The money won’t be written off until the event is booked.

Step 5: When enough tickets are sold the event takes place! You as the starter have the opportunity to introduce the speaker at the event, have a one-on-one with them and of course receive a front row seat!

* Although we almost always sell plenty of tickets for events that reach step 3, there’s a small chance that not enough tickets are sold during step 4. In that case the event won’t take place and all ticket holders receive a full refund. Also, if you aren’t able to attend the event on the decided date, you have two weeks to apply for a refund. Just e-mail [email protected] and we’ll take care of the rest.
